Our guided daily tours do not only comprise anecdotes about buildings, scenery, landscapes, culture, and wildlife. Our tour guides tell stories about extraordinary human beings and their engagement with the many species which today face extinction. You will be told the stories of beautiful landscapes, rivers, hills and mountains, which remain threatened by climate change.
Durban City Tour
This is the ideal introductory tour of Durban, a city together shaped by colonial settlers, the indigenous Zulu people, and Indians who arrived as indentured labourers in the 19th century. Drive along the ‘Golden Mile’ beachfront and stop off at Durban’s Botanical Gardens, founded in 1849. The "muti" section of Victoria market is a must-see. Visit the iconic Moses Mabhida Stadium where one can take the Sky Car ride to the top of the stadium arch for an incredible view of Durban and its surrounds. The tour also includes a visit to trendy Florida Road and the world-class uShaka Marine World.
